I noticed that i like the idea of the lone survivor of a war. There's an irony in being the only man to come out alive... And then what?

Tried something different this time. No inking. I penciled and colored directly under the pencil lines. It worked out really well. I like the way the messy pencil marks really does give a rugged and worn feel.

From start to finish, the picture took 10 hours. Most of it was drawing. I had the idea for the background a while ago, and so it did not take too long.
